I met this wonderful lady early summer of 2001, and soon found out (after a few lunches) that we both had been burned by "so called friendships" before.
I truely feel that was when our friendship blossomed, as we both had seen 1st hand how a friendship can fall apart before you even realize it... But then, those really couldn't have been "true" friendships could they?
From dawn to dusk
I think of thee,

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend...
Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.
Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop.
Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world.
Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it.
This is A Forever Friendship.
When you're down, and the world seems dark and empty,
your forever friend lifts you up in spirit
and makes that dark and empty world suddenly seem bright and full.
Your forever friend gets you through the hard times,
the sad times,
and the confused times.
Your forever friend holds your hand
and tells you that everything is going to be okay.
And if you find such a friend,
feel happy and complete, because you need not worry...
You have a forever friend for life...
And forever has no end!
I Love You for the part of me that you bring out. I Love You for putting your hand into my heaped-up heart, and passing over all the foolish and frivolous and weak things which you cannot help dimly seeing there, and for drawing out into the light all the beautiful, radiant belongings, that no one else had looked quite far enough to find.
I stretched my arms out as far as they would go.
You reached out & touched me.
No one else had made such an effort.
I'm glad you were the one.
Because you are my friend...
and are aware of me...
